New Oxnard Retail Project Approved
The area surrounding a shuttered Target building in Oxnard will get a 20-million dollar make over next year.Before their holiday break, Oxnard City Council Members approved a remodeling project at the retail center on the West side of Esplanade Drive.The old target will be torn down.Food 4 Less will move from across the parking lot to a new site.There will also be room for a new fitness center and a gas station.The project is expected to create more than 50 jobs.And grocery store workers can keep working.The grocery store will stay open until the new one is ready for business..Work will begin early next year.Share your comments about this story with us on the KEY News Facebook page.
