Man Jumps From Mall Second Story

A young man is in serious condition tonight, after police say he jumped from the second story balcony at a mall in Ventura.It happened just before 5:30 Sunday evening at the Pacific View Mall.Officers say the 18-year-old hit the ground on the first floor in front of crowds of last minute holiday shoppers.The victim was taken to the hospital. Investigators are trying to figure out whether drugs or alcohol were involved.Anyone with information is asked to call the Ventura Police Department at 339-4343.
