Local Shop Makes Bracelets For Sandy Hook School

Residents of Newtown, Connecticut are being inundated with gifts from around the world in the wake of the shooting tragedy. The Adesso Atelier in Santa Barbara is doing its part to help in the healing process.For several days, Adesso has opened its doors to anyone in the community wanting to help them make special bracelets and cards for every teacher and child at Sandy Hook Elementary School. Adesso provided all of the supplies for the project. Volunteers helped the store reach its goal of creating more than 300 bracelets. Each bracelet was made of green and white beads, the colors of Sandy Hook Elementary School. While, its too late to make a bracelet, there is still time to send a card to Sandy Hook. Adesso says you can drop off a card at its shop and they will include it in the care package which is being shipped off on January 7th. Adesso Atelier is located at 1209 De la Vina Street in Santa Barbara.
