The secret is to choose a third party seller.”Online retailers who don’t have physical presence aren’t obligated to collect tax for California” said Woroch.We tried to purchase a 32″ LG television at Amazon’s online store on their website for $362.50 with tax. But, that same TV was available from a third party on Amazon.com for a total of $329. The third party saved us more than $25.But, we found plenty of products that were cheaper to buy directly through Amazon’s store with sales tax included.”If you understand Amazon’s business model, there is not much overhead and have consumer following and they can undercut the competition with brick and mortar stores and online retailers” said Woroch.Savings experts say it still pays to search more than one site for the best online deals.
