Walmart Market Opens in Santa Maria

SANTA MARIA- A new market opened on Wednesday morning in Santa Maria, next to a big box store with the same name. A ribbon cutting ceremony was held at 7:30 a.m. for the new Walmart Neighborhood Market The store is located at 2240 South Bradley Road. It occupies a former Linens N’ Things and is located next door to the Santa Maria Walmart. The market features a pharmacy, fresh produce, a self service deli and ready-made items. Approximately 70 part and full-time jobs were created by the store’s opening.
