Vocalist Nicole Cabell To Perform At Ventura High

Now is your chance to see a homegrown opera sensation without going all the way to the Metropolitan Opera in New York City.The Ventura Music Festival wraps up its season this weekend with the return of Nicole Cabell.The opera soprano first appeared at the festival in 2008 when she sang in a sold-out performance at her old high school, Cabell returned to Ventura High today to rehearse the closing night performance this Saturday.The award winning vocalist recently took the stage at the Royal Opera House of London, the Metropolitan Opera in New York and the Lyric Opera of Chicago.Cabell will perform Saturday night at 8 at the Ventura High School Performing Arts Auditorium.There are still tickets left for the final shows.
