UPDATE: Suspected Shooter in Piru in Custody
The man suspected of shooting two people in Piru this afternoon has surrendered to police without incident.The suspect held police at bay for several hours before surrendering.Sheriff’s officials alleged the man shot two people on Center Street in Piru around 4:30pm this afternoon. The incident happened at the intersection of Center Street and Piru Square. Two men, ages 22 and 27 years old were taken to Ventura County medical Center.
