Two Men Under Arrest In Pot Growing Operation
Two men are under arrest in connection with a large marijuana growing operation in Piru.Ventura County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a report of an assault with a deadly weapon in the 3600 block of East Telegraph Road on Friday. During the investigation, deputies discovered a large marijuana cultivation in and around the residence. Narcotics detectives confiscated 541 plants. Wayne Cain, 58, of San Antonio, and his business partner, Raymond Grams, 48, also of San Antonio, were charged with cultivating marijuana. Grams was also charged with assault with a deadly weapon. Both were booked into the Ventura County Jail.
