Train Collides with Van in Summerland

Summerland- Officers are investigating the scene of a train versus van collision Monday morning. The accident happened just after 12:30 a.m. in Summerland at the intersection of Wallace Avenue and Lookout Park Road. The conductor of the train told a KEY News crew that the van was parked near the tracks and was struck in the right rear area. He says he saw three people running from the scene. No one at the collision site was injured, and the petroleum train was delayed for about 45-minutes.
