Taco Stand Murder Victim Identified

The name of the man shot and killed at a popular Oxnard taco stand on Father’s Day has been released.The Ventura County Medical Examiner says Joseph Jimenez died from a single gunshot wound to the neck.It happened at Super Taco on East Fifth Street around 10p.m. Sunday.Witnesses found the 28 year old victim face down on the sidewalk.Police said Monday that they had a prime suspect but have not announced an arrest.The unsolved murder is the fourth in Oxnard this year.Crime Stoppers
