Shark Sighting at Pismo Beach Pier
A shark sighting was reported off Pismo Beach Pier Thursday morning.A press release issued by the state fire department said a surfer reported the shark about 150 yards from the beach. It was estimated to be about 12 feet in length. Officials will post advisories notices for three days at beach accesses. The beaches will remain open. Citizens should always use caution during ocean activities.
