Santa Barbara AIRBUS is the winner of this year’s “Outstanding Operator of the Year” award.The award was presented by the California Bus Association during its 39th annual Convention Gala awards banquet Tuesday night. It recognizes Santa Barbara AIRBUS’ safety and business record. It started in 1983 in the spare room of the Eric and Kelly Onnen’s Santa Barbara area condo.It’s now located at 750 Technology Drive in GoletaThe always locally-owned and operated business employs 60 people and racks up more than 1,000,000 miles annually.
