Ray Bradbury Remembrance
Science fiction writer Ray Bradbury has died. But his memory will live on in an upcoming documentary. The 91-year-old author best known for writing, ” Fahrenheit 451″ , and, “The Martian Chronicles, ” had been working on a documentary about his life with Michael O’ Kelly. The Ventura filmmaker says his son Devin interviewed Bradbury numerous times for the film.O’Kelly says the writing icon agreed to talk about everything. He says the film will be a weird trip through his mind that offers something surreal and different than typical films.O’Kelly hopes the film, called “Live Forever, ” will premiere in Ventura by the end of the year.He only wishes Bradbury lived long enough to see the final cut.Bradbury’s grown children and grandchildren did not release the cause of death Tuesday, but friends say a stroke slowed him down years ago.Bradbury, who said he wrote every day, will also be remembered for writing the 1956 film version of “Moby Dick” and many episodes of “the Twilight Zone.”
