Pregnant Teen Attacked

A Ventura Marine is in trouble with the law. Prosecutors say 20-year-old Jeffrey Walton is one of three suspects who attacked a pregnant teenager.Police say it happened on a Sacramento River Trail in Redding last month.The victim is the ex-girlfriend of another marine suspected in the attack.She gave birth to a healthy baby despite her injuries.Walton and the baby’s father are both based at Camp Pendleton near San Diego.The father’s female cousin is also a suspect.They are facing attempted murder, conspiracy and robbery charges.Share your comments about this story with us on the KEY News Facebook page.
