Police Arrest Suspected Child Molester
Santa Maria Police have arrested a man they say molested a child under the age of 14. The suspect is 30-year-old Longinos Reyes Ruiz. Police say, Ruiz not only molested the victim several times, but that he also took nude photographs of the victim. According to police, the victim was known to the suspect. Police say in cases such as this, suspects may victimize more than one child. Anyone with information on Reyes is urged to contact the Santa Maria Police Department at (805) 928-3781. Reyes is currently in the Santa Barbara County Jail. His bail is set at $250,000.
