Plover Violations Close Surf Beach

VANDENBERG AIR FORCE BASE- Plover violations have closed Surf Beach at Vandenberg Air Force Base for the rest of the summer. During the bird’s nesting season, beach goers are supposed to stay out of fenced off areas and follow other special rules, or else the beach can be closed. The violation limit is 50, and this past weekend the beach reached it’s limit. Wall Beach and Minuteman Beach have the same restrictions and have a ten violation limit each.
