Planned Power Outages Friday for Santa Barbara and Goleta
SANTA BARBARA – Day-long, planned power outages Friday by Southern California Edison will impact more than 200 customers in Santa Barbara and Goleta.Edison spokeswoman Patricia Bartoli-Wible tells KEY News there are several portions to the job, including underground and above circuitry to the El Encanto Hotel project, which will also improve reliability to nearby homes. Roughly 90 customers in the Mission Ridge community of Santa Barbara will be without power from 7 am until 7 pm. In the Encanto area of Goleta, similar work will impact an estimated 123 customers from 9 am until 5 pm.The majority of customers affected by the outages will be residents, and have been notified by Edison.
