Online Auction to Benefit Local Schools

The Santa Barbara Unified School District is selling surplus property during an online auction. One hundred percent of the proceeds will go directly to the school district.Property such as vehicles, furniture, electronics and computer equipment is listed for auction. Though the purchase opportunity has been live for six weeks now, costumers may not immediately see items listed directly from local schools just yet. There is no cost for buyers to register or to bid on the website, http://www.publicsurplus.com/. Money will be pooled into a general fund for all of the schools. Items sold here have no more use within the district and schools simply hope to gain funds to purchase new equipment.
