KEYT’s Friday Football Focus Photo of the Week Contest 1. GENERAL: No purchase necessary. MAKING A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. This KEYT-TV Friday Football Focus “Photo of the Week” (“Contest”) is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local regulations and is void where prohibited or restricted by law.2. ELIGIBILITY: Entries in the Contest may be submitted only by legal U.S. residents at the time of entry submission. Limit one entry per week of the regular high school football season per valid email address. Only one winner per household and one winner per immediate family. Entries may be submitted only by California residents who reside within Santa Barbara or San Luis Obispo Counties, CA, as determined by Nielsen Media Research. Employees of KEYT 3-TV, and their affiliates, representatives, and agents, and their directors and employees (collectively, “Contest Entities”), and the immediate families or members of the same households of such individuals are not eligible to participate. No groups, clubs, or organizations may participate in this Contest. Proof of age, identity, and eligibility must be furnished to the Contest Sponsors upon request. All entry form information must be complete and accurate. The Contest Sponsors will not award a prize to anyone not meeting eligibility requirements at the time of entry. Winners of a KEYT-TV contest or sweepstakes within the past 60 days from the entry deadline of this Contest are not eligible. The Contest Sponsors reserve the right to disqualify any entrant in violation of these Official Rules. Internet access is necessary in order to enter. 3. HOW TO ENTER. All dates and times are subject to change in the event of human error, technical issues affecting the website or entry process, or in the event of breaking news or national or local emergency or condition that is of greater public importance, in KEYT’s sole discretion, than the timely or precise execution of the Contest. All entrants, agree to comply with all applicable laws and these Contest rules, and agree to abide by all decisions of the Contest Sponsors. The Contest entry period begins on Friday August 24, 2012, and ends at 10:00 p.m. Pacific Standard Time on Friday, November 9, 2012. To enter, log on to www.keyt.com/fff/photo-of-the-week, or click on the Friday Football Focus Photo of the Week banner on the KEYT.com website and follow the instructions to enter. Contestants can also enter by logging on to www.facebook.com/key3news and posting their photo entry before the weekly deadline(s). Limit one entry per week per valid email address, household or immediate family. 4. HOW TO WIN: On Friday nights after 10pm, preceding each KEYT 3 ABC Friday Football Focus broadcast at 11:15pm, one (1) weekly winner will be selected from all qualified entries received by the KEYT Sports Department by the weekly deadline of 10pm Friday. The winning photo selected each week will be posted on the KEYT.com Friday Football Focus webpage, and on the KEY News facebook page . The Winner will be notified by phone or the email address provided. Contest Sponsor will not be responsible for incomplete, incomprehensive, illegible, or out-of-service contact information. Each weekly winner will qualify for the grand prize to be awarded on Friday November 16. The grand prize winner will be selected by the KEYT Sports Department from all weekly winners in the 2012 regular season, and announced on the final Friday Football Focus show Nov. 16th, 2012. The Winner will be notified by phone or the email address provided. Contest Sponsor will not be responsible for incomplete, incomprehensive, illegible, or out-of-service contact information. If Contest Sponsor does not receive a response from the grand prize winner by Friday November 23 at 5pm, the winner may be disqualified and forfeit the prize and another grand prize winner will be selected from remaining eligible weekly winners. Winners may be required to sign and return appropriate forms and/or documentation, including an Affidavit or Declaration of Eligibility, a Liability Release, winner’s social security number for tax purposes and/or, where legally permissible, a Publicity Release prior to or at the time of claiming the prize. Entrants further agree that, if requested by the Contest Sponsors, he or she will sign any documents necessary to transfer copyright and all other rights in and to the entry and photo to the Contest Sponsors prior to or at the time of claiming the prize. If a winner fails to sign and return such forms within the requisite timeframe, eligibility may be forfeited and an alternate winner may be selected, time permitting.5. PRIZES: One weekly prize will be offered each week Aug. 31-Nov 9, 2012- a Samy’s Photo book gift card valued at $30 (the photo book is an 8×8, 40 page softcover book). All charges, fees, and expenses not expressly included in the prize description including, without limitation, transportation, parking, taxes, fees, and refreshments, are solely the responsibility of the winner and guest(s).Prizes must be claimed by a specific date to be arranged with the winner by the Contest Sponsors and in no event after 5 p.m. on Nov 30th 2012. To claim each prize, winners must provide valid government-issued photo identification such as a driver’s license, state identification card, or passport. Prizes not claimed by the claim date will be forfeited. In the event a prize is not claimed or is forfeited for any other reason, an alternate winner will be selected, time permitting, in the sole discretion of the Contest Sponsors.6. ODDS OF WINNING: The odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.7. PUBLICITY RELEASE: Except where prohibited, entry in the Contest Sponsor constitutes each entrant’s consent to the Contest Sponsors to use, publish, reproduce and for all purposes, including publicity, promotion and advertising, in any media (including without limitation, the Internet, television, radio, or offline promotions), each entrant’s, name, city, likeness, biographical material, voice, image, each in perpetuity without further compensation, credit or right of review or approval. Entry also constitutes a warranty that each entrant has obtained the authorization and permission of any and all persons appearing in the photo to grant to the Contest Sponsors to use, publish, reproduce and for all purposes, including publicity, promotion and advertising, in any media (including without limitation, the Internet, television, radio, or offline promotions), each such person’s name, city, photograph, likeness, biographical material, voice, image, each in perpetuity without further compensation, credit or right of review or approval.8. TERMS AND CONDITIONS; LIMITATION OF LIABILITY: Participants are responsible for complying with all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations and with these Official Rules, and by entering, participants agree to be bound to these Official Rules. Any security breach or other attempt by an entrant or other party to tamper with the proper administration of the Contest will disqualify the entrant and may result in civil or criminal action against the entrant or other party and may result in the discontinuation, suspension, or cancellation of the Contest.
