Iron Chef Cat Cora Takes Plea Deal

Santa Barbara- TV Iron Chef and Santa Barbara area resident Cat Cora has accepted a plea deal in connection with her recent DUI arrest.The Santa Barbara County District Attorney’s office says Cora pleaded guilty to one count of driving with a blood alcohol content above the legal limit. She will be on probation for three years, must attend safe driving classes and pay almost three thousand dollars in fines.Since this is her first DUI conviction and it’s a misdemeanor, the District Attorney’s office tells KEY News she will not have to serve any time in jail. However, if she is caught driving and driving again she might have to serve 120 days in jail.
