Get Ready for High Fire Season

Santa Barbara County – Ready, Set, Go. The official start of high fire season has been announced.It will begin at 8 am, on May 25th. It is the Friday before Memorial Day weekend. That means all burn permits for hazard reduction will be suspended. Also, the Santa Barbara County Fire Department and all other local agencies will be increasing the number of resources.
