Gas Leak

A gas leak led to an evacuation at an Oxnard mall about eight Monday morning.A construction vehicle struck a gas line between Rite Aid and the site for a new Walmart at the Centerpoint Mall.The drug store was the only store open at the time and had to close for about two hours.Mall officials say they appreciated the quick response by firefighters who kept the scene safe and clear until Edison crews arrived and repaired the line.
