Fire Stations To Hold 9/11 Events

Tuesday will mark the 11th anniversary of 9/11.The terrorism happened on a Tuesday in 2001 and this year’s anniversary falls on a Tuesday.Local Fire Stations will be marking the exact moment the first tower fell.It happened at 6:58 a.m. Members of the public are welcome to stop by their local station to mark the moment.Another brief ceremony will take place at the Santa Barbara County Fire Department Headquarters at 9 a.m.All the events will honor the firefighters, first responders and civilians who lost their lives that day.Ventura County Fire DepartmentShare your comments about this story with us on the KEY News Facebook page.
