Chumash Site Unearthed

A group of students from UC Santa Barbara recently had the unique opportunity to excavate a Chumash Indian site. The site was hidden away for decades underneath the Veteran’s Memorial building. The students discovered several artifacts and gained insight into one of Santa Barbara’s original communities. KEY News reporter Sara Bush has our story.
