Child welfare activists are urging people to call 911 when they see children left in hot cars.Jane LeMond-Alvarez says her own daughter-in-law saved a toddler left in a hot car last week.Alvarez says she reached through an open window to open the car door.It happened near a thrift store.Oxnard Police say they cited a 20-year-old Oxnard mother for misdemeanor child neglect.Alvarez is the founder of the Children’s Wall of Tears nonprofit.She has launched a campaign to remind people never to leave children in vehicles under any circumstances.For more information lot onto: Children’s Wall of Tears I
