Celebracion de los Dignatarios

Celebracin de los Dignatarios is part of the Old Spanish Days celebrations. Many refer to it as the party of the year. This was the scene at the Santa Barbara Zoo Thursday night. It’s where attendees enjoyed locally prepared appetizers and wine, all the while taking in the zoo’s lush surroundings and music performed by Soul City Survivors. This year’s event was extra special. Not only did KEY News broadcast live from the venue, our very own Paula Lopez was honored for her 15-plus years of service in hosting Fiesta events. Paula said she was lured to the event under, “false pretenses.”
