Beach Parking Fees Meeting

SANTA BARBARA COUNTY- A workshop was held Thursday evening to discuss proposed beach parking fees. This was the second of three meetings. The public is being asked to weigh in on the proposal that could include, hourly fees, day-use fees or annual passes. Seven local beaches could be impacted including Rincon, Lookout Park, Goleta Beach, the Guadalupe Dunes, and Ocean Beach. The next hearing will be before the Santa Maria Board of Supervisors– on the morning of August 23rd.KEY News Reporter Shirin Rajaee reports.
