Albertsons Will Layoff Employees This Week
Up to 2,500 Albertsons employees will be let go this week. A store manager tells KEY News, the layoffs will be mostly cashier and grocery stocker positions. One employee said ” if they go to another store and they bump that person from another store that person may have to go to another store and bump a person from that store. So, it’s going to be chaotic for a while.”Albertsons says the layoffs will not impact their commitment to customers. In fact, an employee told us you can expect lower prices soon as a result of the layoffs.
