16-Year-Old Rescued From Red Rock Area
A 16-year-old hiker is recovering tonight after possibly breaking his leg in the Red Rock area of the Los Padres National Forest. The teen hurt his leg when he fell close to 50 feet about 2:30 p.m. Tuesday according to Noozhawk. Emergency crews on the ground and in the air helped out in the rescue. The CALSTAR helicopter eventually picked up the 16-year-old and took him to Cottage Hospital. No word yet on the extent of his injuries.
