101 Overnight Construction

Expect delays in the early morning hours this week along the 101 between Carpinteria and Ventura. This week Caltrans crews are working on a carpool lane improvement project. Traffic will be down to one lane in both directions, between Mobil Pier Road and Casitas Pass Road. The closures will take place nightly, Tuesday, May 8 to Thursday May 10. Caltrans will start closing lanes at seven p.m and expects to have all lanes back open by nine a.m the following morning.
