101 Detour In Oxnard
The 101 will be closed overnight tonight and tomorrow night in Oxnard.The closure of the North and Southbound lanes will occur at Rice Avenue from 11 P.M. until 5 A.M. Workers on the new Rice Overpass need time to take down the “falsework” used for construction.Crews say the project was part of the stimulus package.The same closures will happen next Tuesday and Wednesday nights.But the detour will be quick and simple.Drivers will be taken off at Rice and Santa Clara and get right back on the 101 freeway.KEY News will have more details at 5, 6 and 6:30 p.m.Share your comments about this story with us on the KEY News Facebook page.
