Worker Robbed at Knife Point at Marina West Park

Oxnard police are looking for several men involved in an armed robbery at Marina West Park. Police say, the robbery took place just after 7:15 Sunday night.

Police say, 34-year-old Julian Lopez, an employee for the City of Oxnard, was locking the bathrooms at Marina West Park when he was confronted and surrounded by 10 men. Lopez says, eight of the suspects were wearing bandannas around their faces, and that two of the suspects allegedly threatened and assaulted Lopez with their knives.

The suspects were able to get away with Lopez’s wallet, and items out of his work truck. Police say, they also slashed the tires of his work truck.
