USPS Extends Hours For Some Post Offices on Saturday, Dec. 15

The busiest mailing day of the year is next Monday. A spokesperson for the US postal service says, workers expect more than 655-million cards to be sent out on Monday.

The postal service recommends mailing early to get a jump on the rush, and to make sure your items arrive on time. To help ease congestion for customers, many post offices will be extending their hours this Saturday.

A spokesperson for The United States Postal Service says, the following Post Offices will be open for extended hours on Dec. 15, 2012:

VENTURA: 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.

EAST VENTURA: 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.

CAMARILLO: 9 a.m.- 5 p.m.

CARPINTERIA: 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.

OXNARD: 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.

SANTA PAULA: 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.

SANTA BARBARA:10 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

SANTA BARBARA EAST BEACH: 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.

GOLETA: 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.

SANTA BARBARA ELLWOOD STATION: 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.

SAN LUIS OBISPO: 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.

SAN LUIS OBISPO LOS OSOS: 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.

ATASCADERO: 9 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

LOMPOC: 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.

PASO ROBLES: 9 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

PISMO BEACH: 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.

SANTA MARIA: 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.
