Reward In Dog Set On Fire Case

A reward is being offered for information leading to the arrest of the person who set a dog on fire. The Basset Hound Rescue Group is offering a 10-thousand dollar reward on its website. The three year old dog named Buddy died on Saturday October 27th. The dog was one of the hounds owned by the Delgado family in Camarillo Heights

Some neighbor told KEY News that they think a relative did it. But Sheriff’s Deputies have not made an arrest.

Mr. Delgado told KEY News that his family is devastated, but he would not comment further on the open investigation. Investigators say someone poured lighter fluid on the dog and then set the dog on fire.
