Police Investigate Drive-by Shooting in Santa Maria

Santa Maria Police are looking for a shooter that shot a man in the upper torso. Police say, the victim showed up at Marian Hospital with a gunshot wound just after 12:15 Thursday morning.

The unidentified victim told officers he was walking home on the 600 block of West Cypress when a white Acura pulled up to him. The victim says, the front passenger then fired one shot from a shotgun. The victim is expected to survive.
