Lompoc Brush Fire Contained

The brush fire in Lompoc is now contained. North “D” Street between East North Avenue and East Barton roads were closed around 6:30pm Thursday because of a brush fire in the wash out ditch.

The fire burned several large trees just south of La Honda Elementary School. Fire crews are cleaning up the area. North “D” Street is now being opened back up for both north bound and south bound traffic.
