Drug Dealing Gang Member Arrested
Alejandro Mendibles is booked into Santa Barbara County jail for possession of Methamphetamine for sale and driving on a suspended license. Santa Barbara Police also say he is a known gang member.
Mendibles lives on the 400 block of Rancheria Street in Santa Barbara. When investigators served a search warrant they found almost a quarter of a pound of meth packaged for sale.
He was arrested last Friday after police found his car in the Paseo Nuevo Mall parking lot. Estimated value of the drug is between thirty-five hundred to four thousand dollars.
Authorities also seized over two thousand dollars in drug money.
Mendibles bail amount was set at thirty thousand dollars.
