Alleged Sexual Assault Under Investigation In Isla Vista
The UCSB Police Department sent out an e-mail alert early Saturday morning warning about a sexual assault that occurred at a party. The alleged sexual assault happened inside a residence on the 800 block of Embarcadero del Norte at about 1 a.m.
The suspect is described only as a college age white male with brown hair who left the residence in an unknown direction.
The Santa Barbara Sheriffs department is investigating this incident. It is the fourth case of a sexual assault against a woman near campus since classes started.
