CARPINTERIA, Calif. - From flower shops to bulk distributors, like Florabundance in Carpinteria, it's a busy week ahead of Valentines Day on Monday.

Joost Bongaerts from Florabundance joined FOX11 Thursday morning to discuss the business of Valentines Day and which flowers are the most popular.

Studies show that flowers trigger dopamine and serotonin — in other words: happy emotions. Just having them around is a sure-fire way to improve your mental and emotional health.
