Vitalent Bloodmobile hosts blood drive at Cottage Hospital in Santa Barbara

SANTA BARBARA, Calif. - There will be two blood drives happening in Santa Barbara and Goleta on Thursday morning, Dec. 15.

The blood drives will be held in front of Cottage Hospital and Goleta Valley Cottage Hospital.

Hosted by Vitalent, the blood drive runs from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

According to Vitalent, all healthy donors are urged to donate now.

If you’ve had COVID-19 and have been symptom-free for 10 days, you are eligible to donate.

Whatever your COVID-19 vaccination status, Vitalent says you are allowed to give blood or platelets.
