SANTA MARIA, Calif. - On Friday night, Santa Maria City firefighters gathered with their fire engines in front of Marian Regional Medical Center to thank hospital staff for all their work during this pandemic.

The firefighters wore masks while they stood on top of a large engine fully dressed in uniform and clapped and cheered for the hospital workers.

The engine's siren blared and lights flashed while they extended the truck's ladder high into the air.

Video of this event can be seen on the fire department's Twitter page.
