Foresters ready to travel to Wichita for NBC World Series

The Santa Barbara Foresters hit the road for Wichita, Kansas and they hope to bring back a record-breaking seventh national title.

Santa Barbara heads into the National Baseball Congress World Series as one of the big favorites to win it all as they are 34-7.

They have stumbled lately, dropping four out of their last six games plus they have lost a couple of their star players due to injury namely catcher Chase Illig and slugging outfielder Connor Davis.

But the Foresters have tremendous pitching that should make them a tough out in Wichita,

They begin pool play on Friday, August 3rd.
