Powell will transfer out of UCSB

Sophomore guard Clifton Powell, Jr., will transfer out of the UCSB men’s basketball program, head coach Joe Pasternack announced Saturday .

“We want to wish Cliff all of the best in his future,” Pasternack said.

Powell played in seven of the Gauchcos’ first 10 games this season, seeing a total of 39 minutes of action. He was averaging 0.9 points per game while shooting 27.3% from the field.
