Joe Pasternack comments on college basketball scandal involving Arizona

First-year UCSB head basketball coach Joe Pasternack made a brief comment on the FBI probe that included last week’s arrest of University of Arizona assistant coach Emanuel Richardson. The feds have arrested ten people in the college basketball world and they are charged with corruption and fraud. The investigation is ongoing.

Pasternack was the associate head coach at Arizona when he was hired by UCSB in early April of this year. He worked alongside Richardson.

Richardson is accused of taking bribes and paying a basketball recruit to come to Arizona.

There are no references in the FBI complaints that Pasternack was involved in bribery.
