Curbing crime in Paso Robles with newly installed cameras
Newly installed safety cameras throughout the City of Paso Robles aim to increase the police department’s crime prevention efforts.
The cameras were installed by the Paso Robles Police Department and were paid for through the Board of State and Community Corrections grant worth $62,500 dollars.
Paso Robles police say the cameras will help identify suspects involved in crimes easier. The devices can be easily identified by their flashing blue strobe lights.
Not only will the cameras be recording 24/7, but the Paso Robles Police Department says the video feeds can be monitored in the public safety communications center as well as on mobile devices by the Police Watch Commander.
Police say the cameras are installed in the following areas:
100 block of Niblick Road Centennial Park Uptown Park City Park
