Permissive Burn Day in Carpinteria, Summerland

There will be several controlled burns in Carpinteria and Summerland Monday.

According to the Carpinteria-Summerland Fire District, ten controlled burns are scheduled throughout the day.

Residents and commuters may witness small plumes of white smoke billowing from the controlled burns.
