Lompoc crash closes Harris Grade Road

A two-car head-on collision near Lompoc temporarily closed down Harris Grade Road on Friday.

The crash occurred on Harris Grade Road two miles south of Highway 135, according to Santa Barbara County Fire Capt. Dave Zaniboni. Three people suffered minor injuries, and at least two were taken to Lompoc Valley Medical Center.

One person had to be extricated from the wreck with the “Jaws of Life.”

Harris Grade Road was temporarily closed due to emergency equipment in the way.

No other details were immediately available. The California Highway Patrol is investigation the cause of the crash.
