Barricaded suspect arrested in Santa Barbara
Santa Barbara police say a man wanted on multiple warrants barricaded himself inside a home Thursday morning.
The incident happened on the 300 block of La Cumbre Road at about 7 a.m. Police say the suspect barricaded himself soon after officers arrived at the residence.
A crisis negotiator and K-9 team was called in to assist. After about an hour, the suspect came out without incident and was taken into custody.
Authorities say one of the warrants was in connection to a motorcycle theft in Santa Barbara back in April.
