Police Investigating Atascadero Walgreens Armed Robbery
Atascadero police are investigating an armed robbery that occurred just before midnight Thursday at an Atascadero Walgreens.
Police say a suspect armed with a black handgun walked into the Walgreens and demanded cash from the clerk. The clerk complied, and gave the suspect about $300 in cash.
By the time officers arrived on scene, the suspect had already fled.
The suspect is described at a white male adult. He was last seen wearing a black sweatshirt with a white insignia, blue jeans, and black shoes with rubber trim.
