Morro Bay Police Identify Couple in Murder-Suicide Investigation
MORRO BAY, Calif. – UPDATE: The Morro Bay Police Department has identified the victim and suspect in a murder-suicide investigation. 36-year-old Angelica Ramos was the victim. The apparent suspect was 47-year-old Brian Keith Tuck.
The 4-year-old child found inside the home at the time of the grisly discovery has been identified as the couple’s daughter. That child is in the custody of family members.
The motive for the murder remains under investigation. No other details were immediately known.

Police confirm the victim was a 36-year old female and the apparent suspect is a 47-year old male.
Morro Bay Police are investigating a possible murder-suicide in a home off of Greenwood Avenue. Officers discovered two people dead inside this morning.
Police wrapped up the initial part of their investigation this afternoon. Detectives were going in and out of the house all day trying to figure out what happened.
What we do know is that an officer was on routine patrol this morning when
he saw the front door open to the home. When he entered he found two people
dead inside.
“Shock doesn’t quite cover it all,” neighbor Gary Walker said. Shock – finding out two of his neighbors are dead. “It happens in paradise as well as it does anywhere else in the world,” Walker said.
Gary Walker has lived in this Morro Bay community for 14 years. “This is Morro Bay, it doesn’t happen here…but it did,” Walker said.
Walker says he can’t believe detectives are investigating a possible murder-suicide just a handful of houses down the street. Police say the couple had a child.
“I understand there’s a four-year-old girl and what a shame,” Walker said.
Morro Bay police say during a routine patrol around 2:30 Monday morning. They noticed the front door suspiciously wide open.
“Looked around the edge of the door and saw a body laying in the kitchen
area,” Morro Bay Police Department Commander Rick Catlett said.

There was a recent proposal to disband the Morro Bay Police Department for financial reasons – the City Council decided to keep it open.
“This is a prime example of what our police department does for the community, we check everything, we are very very diligent and proactive in our law enforcement,” Catlett said.
Walker says neighbors just saw the couple barbecuing outside on Sunday.
“All of a sudden something snaps and all of a sudden the whole community
changes.. and the little girl, now she has to grow up without a mom and dad,” Walker said.
